Will knew SEMO would challenge him, but he never faced those challenges alone. His professors encouraged him to run for alderman, answered his questions and gave him the confidence to balance college, public service and preparation for law school.

As one of Missouri's youngest aldermen, Will didn't have to wait until graduation to put his education into practice. Every city meeting, community project and leadership opportunity became an extension of the classroom, giving him real-world experience that prepared him for what comes next.

Growing up in southeast Missouri inspired Will to give back to the community that shaped him. At SEMO, he found faculty and classmates who challenged his thinking, supported his goals and shared his commitment to making a difference.
